Riverside weddings

The five-star riverside Shangri-La Hotel is inviting couples to say “I do” alongside the Chao Phraya following the introduction of a variety of wedding day packages.

Options include a seven-tier wedding cake, complimentary corkage for 15 bottles of wine or whisky, one complimentary night in a deluxe balcony room with breakfast for two, sparkling wine served with canapés, and afternoon high tea.

Whether couples are planning a wedding for 300 or 1,500 guests, the hotel offers luxury venues in various sizes, including the Garden Gallery and Salathip, with its backdrop of a lush tropical garden with river views.

The hotel’s event planners have designed three wedding packages to meet different demands. All the packages are applicable for a minimum of 300 guests and include a choice of cocktails, different menus, and different décor arrangements including elaborate garlands for the bride and groom, ice-carved items and floral decorations.
